Cookin’ Up a Cure For Pancreatic Cancer Research Funds
Tomorrow night, celebrities such as Anderson Cooper and Whoopi Goldberg will be busy “Cookin’ Up a Cure” for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network’s (PanCan) highly anticipated second annual fundraiser. The event, to be held in the Allen Room at the Frederick P. Rose Hall, Home of Jazz at Lincoln Center, will include cocktails and a gourmet chefs tasting from renowned New York City restaurants such as 2nd Avenue Deli, Lombardi’s and Alfama.
PanCan advances research, supports patients and creates hope for anyone affected by pancreatic cancer. The organization raises money for direct private funding of research—and advocates for more aggressive federal research funding of medical breakthroughs in prevention, diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic cancer.
Attendees will have the opportunities to win items such as a private plane ride to the Hampton’s for lunch, tickets and backstage passes to The View, a one-year subscription to Abigail Michaels Concierge Service, and tickets to Lela Rose September Fashion Show during the silent and live auction. Proceeds from the evening will help meet the urgent needs of individuals diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and their families, as well as continue vital advocacy work.
Pre-sale ticket pricing: $125 per person. Online registration deadline is today at 8:00 pm! Visit www.pancan.org/cookinupacure to purchase tickets. If you missed the deadline please contact cookinupacure@gmail for ticket information.
